Archery for Juniors
Archery is a sport for all ages and for juniors it offers the opportunity to develop new skills whilst improving upper body strength, posture and general fitness. Archery can also improve patience and focus as well as leading to a sense of self achievement whilst having fun!
We offer regular group archery or have-a-go sessions as well as Birthday parties.
Before you can join one of our regular archery sessions you do need to attend an introductory session, please click on the picture below for details of our next Introductory session.
Our junior archery sessions are run by a qualified Archery GB Instructor and we have a risk assessment in place based on the Archery GB format.
During our regular shoots as well as games and competitions we also run the Archery GB Progress Awards scheme where juniors can develop their archery skills to achieve progress badges.
The cost for the regular sessions is just £10 and includes all equipment hire, coaching and insurance, we do however need juniors to attend either a group or private introductory session before they can attend our regular shoots.
The Junior sessions take place on our outdoor range which has a covered and heated shooting area and is located next to our archery lodge where complimentary hot drinks are available for parents and spectators. During particularly inclement weather we can shoot under full cover.
