Horsebow Archery Experience

After a brief introduction and discussion you will have the opportunity to learn a new shooting skill championed by history and Hollywood.

With a choice of different horsebows including Hungarian, Scythian, Mongolian, Persian and Korean you will experience the satisfaction of loosing arrows instinctively at various targets.

Coaching is provided by an Archery GB and British Horseback Archery Qualified Advanced Coach so you can be confident in the professional level of tuition.

Depending on your level and progression, we also provide coaching in different styles of drawing the bow including Mediterranean, Thumb and Slavic and also on speed shooting and movement whilst shooting.

We are located on the edge of the Peak District National Park with glorious views and surrounded by nature making this a very mindful experience.

We shoot from undercover on hard standing so are comfortable in all weather conditions.

Although these sessions are ground based, they are ideal for anyone also interested in shooting mounted on their own horses.

As with all our bookings you will be assured that you will have exclusive use of our facilities, we never mix groups, making it a very personal experience.

Prices:

£90 for two people, duration approximately one hour

Groups of 3 to 6 persons £35.00 each, duration approximately one and half hours

The recommended minimum age is 16 years old.
